Kati Raitinen combines her work as solo cellist in the Royal Opera Orchestra in Stockholm with a wide variety of international chamber music activities. The wide range from Jean Sibelius to Einojuhani Rautavaara and Johan Ullén – to name a few – shows her great attachment to contemporary music. The last work on this album – „The Dark Triad“ from Johan Ullén – was dedicated to Kati Raitinen and the final movement of this magnificent piece also gave its name to this exciting album: THE WORLD IS (Y)OURS.
