With a first single with Sacred Concerts by Anton Colander, the Ensemble LPDM launches a series of releases, a collection with the title „Schola Sagittariana“. It celebrates the 350th anniversary of the death of Heinrich Schütz. The project comprises revelations of quite unknown composers who studied with Schütz. A very interesting kaleidoscope of that time.
As a preview on the upcoming album with the revelatory title „Mr. Händel im Pub“ (Mr. Handel in the pub) the ensemble I Zefirelli already presents a single as a digital release with stirring folk tunes in London’s baroque style.
The Praetorius-Album of the ensemble La Protezione della Musica is presented in detail in the programme „Die neue Platte“ – apart from the editorial value during the Praetorius anniversary year, the experimentiveness and surety of style are praised.
